Here's why: "When I first became interested in wine for its taste, many experts had declared the years 1995-1996 as the best Chardonnay in 100 years. It was fun to explore the subtle taste nuances and I quickly learned that wine could cost whatever you could spend. The thrill was, and still is, to find the best taste for the most reasonable price. In the year 1997 or so, when I first began hearing the various parts of Sundial it was the name of the brand that I thought best for the price. To shorten the story, remember that was the best year in 100 years or so and all that's left of that vintage now is memory!"
